INTRODUCTION:

This website is one element of a comprehensive plan to direct the travel of all construction trucks weighing over 7 tons to and from the Stanford campus along designated truck routes. Designated Truck Routes surrounding the campus are Page Mill Road, El Camino Real, Sand Hill Road, and Junipero Serra Boulevard from the Alpine Road/Santa Cruz intersection to Campus Drive East.  A Truck Routes Map may be found on the Stanford Parking & Transportation Services website at:

TRUCKS OVER 7 TONS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON JUNIPERO SERRA BOULEVARD BETWEEN CAMPUS DRIVE EAST AND PAGE MILL ROAD.

TRUCKS OVER 7 TONS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON STANFORD AVENUE.

Trucks traveling along these roads should be reported on this website. Include as much information as possible. Stanford will follow-up on your report. If the truck reported is traveling to (or from) Stanford, and found to be in violation of the ban on trucks over 7 tons, per standard contract language, the contractor will be fined. Fines will escalate for repeat offenders.

Buses are exempt from these travel restrictions, although as a courtesy to our neighbors, we do request that charter bus companies use the truck routes to campus.
