Project Description:
The School of Engineering Center (SoEC) is intended to serve as a hub for the School’s teaching and research endeavors shifting the center of the school from Terman Engineering Center to the SEQ 2. With the largest disposition of regional assets and special function space in the SEQ 2, the SoEC is intended to draw faculty, staff, students and visitors into the new quad. The SoEC will be home to the Science and Engineering library, state of the art distance education and professional education classrooms, student organization and meeting spaces and the SEQ 2 café. Additionally, the facility will house the School of Engineering Dean’s office, the Department of Management Science and Engineering, and the Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering.
