Project Description:
This intensive laboratory facility will build on the traditional strengths of the Ginzton Laboratory, bringing together creative and robust research efforts at the intersection of electrical engineering, materials and applied physics. Following the model of the highly successful Ginzton Laboratory, the University envisions an interdisciplinary research facility that explores the most exciting and productive areas at the overlap between engineering and the sciences. The building will include many sophisticated labs with stringent requirements for vibration, cleanliness and lighting control. As a result, much of the program for the building is accommodated in an expanded basement level.
