Project Description:
This facility embodies interdisciplinary study by placing two related programs, Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering, side by side and in close proximity to both the School of Engineering and the School of Medicine. This link provides the departments with a tremendous opportunity to build strong synergistic relationships and will greatly improve collaborations. This building is predominantly comprised of intensive research wet labs. A highly visible regional Soft Hybrid Materials lab is included among specialized program elements.
