The Mission of the Department of Capital Planning is to:
•   Lead the University's capital planning process each year.
•   Allocate and evaluate space throughout the University on an ongoing basis.
•   Manage the Form 1 process and Facilities Reserve program for the University.
•   Undertake planning and space utilization studies in support of the University's goals and priorities.

To achieve this mission, the Department interfaces and communicates regularly with the Office of the Provost, colleagues within Land and Buildings, Deans, Directors, and Senior Officers of the University.

The group works as a team (Staff and Organization Chart), with individual members taking responsibility for different aspects of each area.
